Autofinder generates PDF and HTML reports regarding the history and status of vehicles in New Zealand.
I was responsible for most of the backend code on the project along with configuring and hardening the server it runs on.
Autofinder connects to a number of external APIs in order to source the information for its reports, which can be generated and displayed to the user in both HTML and PDF format. The site can additional email or fax the PDF if needed.
Core Functionality
- Fetch information from a number of different API providers using SOAP, XML and JSON
- Generate reports in HTML and PDF
- Allow users to manage their accounts and sub-users
- Allow phone operators to securely authenticate phone users and act on their behalf
